Study on Policy Implications Based on the Analysis of Expensive Drugs

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the use of expensive drugs. For this study, EDI bills of pharmacies were used. Here, the study indicates that the use of expensive drugs is very common and obstacles in the development of the pharmaceutical market is expected to grow. Moreover, in addition to the common use of expensive drugs, the study indicates that drug prescription is highly concentrate to a certain kind of pharmaceutical product. Based on the results of this study, a prompt introduction of the reference price system and an incentive system for the use of less extensive drugs must he considered.
